All Things COnsidered
Consider this
All Things Considered is the story of the constant encounter with systems, structures, bureaucracy, and welfare, set against the stark contrast of the more abstract misfortune and injustice that exist elsewhere. Through music, a form of positive nihilism is explored, where life holds the meaning we choose to give it. This results in a sound that moves between the bleak and the hopeful, embracing both the beauty and the sadness of meaninglessness, without ever giving in to apathy.
The Purpose - Live Session
Who Are We?
Songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Rasmus Højer creates experimental singer-songwriter music under the name All Things Considered, drawing inspiration from artists such as Bon Iver, James Blake, Jordan Rakei, and Radiohead.
At the core of the project lies a strong focus on the live aspect of the music, which is where Rasmus invests most of his creative energy and work as a musician. This becomes especially clear in performances with his five-piece ensemble, consisting of:
Anna Sophie Nilson – bass and backing vocals
Peter Schmidt – guitar and backing vocals
Magnus Wiinblad – flute, saxophone, and shruti box
Lasse Bech – drums
Rasmus himself performs on guitar and piano and serves as the lead vocalist. All Things Considered is his artistic brainchild—a project shaped by his songwriting, sonic vision, and approach to live performance—brought fully to life through collaboration on stage.
